It is roughly 15,000 sq ft. (5,000 per floor.) It's starting to look a lot bigger now that some of the walls have been knocked out!
I remember going to the Elgin Restaurant with my mother when I was only about 5-6 years old. I particularly remember the beautiful chandeliers and the feeling of elegance. I am so happy you are restoring this grand lady.
Mrs Smith thank you for your response. We would be interested in your memories of the restaurant and the hotel. We really don't have any interior pictures of the hotel and would be interested in any information you might be able to provide us. We look forword to hearing back from you.
